The depicted line was created with only three mouse clicks within seconds.
Manually gathering feature lines on a surface is a time consuming task and the resulting lines show a lack of accuracy. Using semi-automatic tools is therefore preferable.
The user enters a starting point for the feature line. The semi-automatic algorithm detects the features up to the current mouse position. To affirm the detected feature line, the user has to click again.
